What's the role?
As a Manager, Lending & Virtual, you will champion a culture of growth and continuous improvement while collaborating with Finance teams, business partners, and stakeholders to deliver strategic outcomes. You will oversee month-end reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis for Retail Banking, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with Group policies. Your responsibilities include driving automation and process simplification, embedding change through Communities of Practice, and supporting decision-making for National Lending and Virtual businesses based on profitability and returns.
You will also manage competitive insights, statutory reporting, and transformation initiatives, while maintaining strong governance and regulatory compliance. This role requires proactive engagement across teams to enhance infrastructure, streamline processes, and deliver timely, insightful analysis for senior stakeholders.
What do I need?
* Solid retail banking or financial services experience, chartered or CPA qualified, with a solid technical financial background
* Strong stakeholder engagement and partnering experience, with ability to distil complex information into clear, actionable insight
* Proven data and reporting experience including use and understanding of BI applications, data warehousing and web-based reporting
* Strong modelling abilities and proven experience in delivering complex models.
* Extensive practical application of financial data modelling and reporting process and report design through to business implementation
* Competency in strategy and policy formulation and delivery
