Personal Assistant - Financial Services IndustryAbout the roleThis permanent, part-time position is a key role within the Goldline team, supporting a Financial Planner in managing their client portfolio.
You will play a vital part in ensuring the highest standards of service and efficiency are consistently maintained.In this role, you will assist with day-to-day client administration, document preparation, and coordination of financial planning activities.
To succeed, you must be highly detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable in a dynamic environment.
A positive attitude and willingness to take on tasks—big or small—are essential.What you'll be doingPersonally fulfill various administration tasks & communications through to completionAccountable for the correct processing of a wide variety of documentation including recording of all modes of contactAccurate & timely Client file management (physical & electronic)Facilitate the booking of Client appointments & daily diary managementInput, monitor & maintain the accuracy of Client information & file notesImplement & uphold compliance responsibilities in line with legislation and licensee standardsProvide support & regularly assist other Team membersDemonstrate a professional level of letter writing & proofreading capabilitiesDevelop a full understanding of established systems & processesHelp onboard new clients as directed by the plannerPreparation of client correspondence / documentation and presentation materialVarious & time-sensitive requirements relating to Insurance Policies (Death, TPD & Income Protection for example)What we're looking forDemonstrative previous experience within a similar role (or parts of)Be technically strong & demonstrate analytical skillsDemonstrate initiative & the capacity to multitaskBe able to prioritise their own workload & also work autonomouslyDisplay reliability & professionalism at all times including neat, office-appropriate working attireFriendly & confident telephone & customer liaison manner with a Client focused attitudeDisplay a consistently positive, approachable & happy natureHold a current C-Class Driver's Licence (car)Be flexible, adaptable & willing to learnDemonstrate an intermediate to advanced user level on computer systems including Microsoft programs (Word, Excel & Outlook) & MYOBBe an organised individual with effective time management skillsPrevious industry experience will be highly regarded as would any prior involvement using XPlan, Centrelink Online Portal & / or Class.This position is 100% office-based and not suitable for a work-from-home scenario.What we offerAt Goldline Financial Planning, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
