The Team: The Spencer Clinic is a dynamic, contemporary, evidence based mental health team. The unit includes 2 psychiatrists, 2 Senior medical officers, an RMO, a social worker, a psychologist and a great team of nurses and support people. The next two years will see the opening of a new mental health unit at Burnie Hospital The Role: The Registered Nurse strengthens health outcomes through the provision of safe quality, clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with patients/clients, their families and other health professionals. You will need: Current knowledge of, and the ability to apply nursing principles, procedures and practices in the delivery of patient/client care in a designated practice area and in line with legal requirements and the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Board (NMBA) Registered Nurse standards for practice. Sound interpersonal and communication skills, including written skills and the ability to function effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment. Knowledge of continuous quality improvement (safety and quality) and the application of evidence based practice in the practice setting.
