This is a Fixed Term Sessional appointment at 40 hours/10 sessions per fortnight (0.5 FTE) for 12 months with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency. We are seeking an orthopaedic surgeon, with post fellowship experience in paediatric orthopaedics to join our team offering general paediatric orthopaedic and trauma services. Key Responsibilities
Experience or interest in general paediatric orthopaedics and orthopaedic trauma is essential to the position. Position is comprised of elective and trauma clinics and operating with on-call duties approximately 1 in 10. Candidates participating in the on call roster may be eligible to be paid at the additional trauma award rate for some sessions. Must hold FRACS Orthopaedics or equivalent, be eligible for specialist registration through AHPRA and desirable to have completed a paediatric orthopaedic fellowship or have demonstrated clinical experience in the management of paediatric orthopaedic patients.
