Skillset, in partnership with a local building and construction business, is looking for a Carpentry Apprentice to join the team in Lithgow, NSW. This entry-level role is perfect for anyone ready to learn, earn and grow in the construction industry.
This qualification is recognised on the Australian Apprenticeships Priority List. The successful candidate may be eligible for the Australian Apprentice Training Support Payment of up to $10,000 over the first 3 years of the qualification.
Duties
* Use hand and power tools
* Measure, cut and assemble materials
* Assist qualified tradespeople
* General labouring and site maintenance
* Keep the site clean and safe
Skills and Experience
* Genuine interest in building a career in construction
* Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Hold a white card or willing to obtain
* Hold a minimum P1 driver's licence
