This is a part-time School Counsellor position available for 2 years.
About the Role
The successful applicant will work with students presenting with complex needs, provide professional learning to school staff and families, and collaborate with the Pastoral Care team.
Key Responsibilities
 * Support students with complex needs through evidence-based interventions.
 * Work collaboratively with the Pastoral Care team to ensure student well-being.
 * Deliver professional learning sessions to enhance staff knowledge and skills.
Applicants must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and manage caseloads effectively.
Requirements
 * Current registration with the Psychology Board of Australia or membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers or PACFA/ACA with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Counselling.
 * A strong understanding of professional body's ethical and legal requirements.
 * Experience in providing evidence-based interventions with children and young people.
Two referees are required to support the application.
