The Role
Due to continued growth in the infrastructure portfolio, we are seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor with 2-4 years' post-graduate experience, ideally from a civil or infrastructure background. You'll contribute to a broad range of pre- and post-contract activities across major water and civil engineering projects, working closely with senior QS and project management staff.
Pre-Contract
Key Responsibilities
* Measurement and quantification for civil works
* Cost planning and estimates during feasibility and design
* Preparation of BoQs, value management, and cost benchmarking
Post-Contract:
* Assessment of variations and contractor progress claims
* Cost reporting, forecasting, and risk management
* Support in bank reporting, QA, and tax depreciation documentation
Your Background
* Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management
* 2-4 years' QS experience, ideally with civil infrastructure, water, or utilities
* Exposure to systems like CostX or similar preferred
* Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative project team
