Mechanical Estimator - Building Services
Location: Brighton/ South Coast

A growing M&E Building Services contractor is looking to recruit a Mechanical Estimator to join their commercial team.
This role is open to candidates at different levels - whether you are an Intermediate Estimator looking to step up or a more experienced Mechanical Estimator seeking a new challenge, there is flexibility depending on experience.
You will be involved in pricing mechanical packages across a range of commercial projects, working closely with internal teams to deliver competitive and accurate tenders.
Responsibilities
1. Preparing detailed mechanical estimates (HVAC, plumbing, pipework etc.)
2. Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
3. Completing take-offs and quantifying works
4. Obtaining and analysing supplier and subcontractor quotations
5. Pricing labour, materials and programme requirements
6. Supporting tender submissions and commercial strategy
Requirements
7. Experience within mechanical building services estimating
8. Understanding of HVAC, plumbing and mechanical systems
9. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
10. Commercial awareness and attention to detail
11. Strong communication skills
