Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health is a not-for-profit community health organisation providing a comprehensive range of free and low-cost health, wellbeing and community services in early childhood, youth, families, adults, aged and disability.
Covering an area of over 1700km 2 from Sunbury to beyondtheborders ofMacedon RangesShire our 220staffand 70 volunteers are based across four sites at Kyneton, Romsey and Sunbury.

About the Role
This position presents an opportunity to work within a multi-disciplinary to provide high quality care to public dental patients. As a Dental Assistant you will be responsible for supporting the Oral Health unit in the provision of efficient and effective dental health services to clients in accordance with appropriate clinical standards and policies to ensure an integrated approach to client care.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Prepare, maintain, and manage the dental clinic to a high infection control standard
* Provide clinical chairside assistance to Dentists, Dental Therapists and Oral Health Therapists within the Sunbury clinic and offsite during outreach services and Smile Squad
* Assist in re-processing of instruments, which may include podiatry as well as dental instruments
* Administrative support to the dental team as required
About You
* Certificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent
* Minimum 12-months recent experience working as a dental assistant within Australia/New Zealand
