About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned sales manager to join our team and lead our regional sales efforts. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for identifying key decision-makers within customer executive teams, establishing strong relationships, and driving new business demand creation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify key decision-makers within customer executive teams and establish strong relationships across all levels, including the C-suite.
* Drive new business demand creation and conduct face-to-face customer management meetings as necessary.
* Create and align monthly and quarterly sales forecasts, deliver revenue goals, and ensure on-time supply.
Requirements:
Essential Qualifications:
* 5+ years of experience in cellular/wireless communication or relevant products (preferably on cellular technology, wireless modules).
* Strong interest in IoT applications.
* Excellent presentation and negotiation skills and good written and verbal communication.
* Fluent communicator strong in English (written and oral).
* Prepared to travel to customer premises.
* Driving license and car.
* Strong sales skills, understand sales methodology and strategies for complex sales.
* Quick learner and a winning attitude.
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
* Ability to travel on short notice.
Desirable Qualifications:
* Embedded HW/SW development experience and understanding.
* Strong carrier relationships in ANZ.
* Experience with working with large enterprise customers all the way to start-ups, especially in IoT solutions.
* Cellular, RF & GNSS module experience is preferred.
* Understanding about the evolving wireless technologies and new categories of LTE/5G, WiFi, Bluetooth, Satellite and LPWAN technologies.
* Experience managing the sales activities within Australia and New Zealand, including outbound business.
* Professional attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interface directly with different levels of the customers' organization.
