**Operations management of Stockland Baldivis and Harrisdale retail centres**:

We have an opportunity for an Operations Manager to join the team in Perth. You will be looking after two of our retail centres in South Perth:
**Stockland Baldivis** which sits within the Settlers Hills residential community. The dynamic town centre includes a full-line ALDI, Coles, Woolworths, Kmart plus three mini-majors, more than 75 specialty stores and a bustling main street restaurant precinct.

**Stockland Harrisdale** which sits within the Newhaven masterplanned community. The centre is anchored by Woolworths and ALDI and includes Five Seasons Fresh, 32 specialty shops and kiosks, along with an alfresco dining precinct. The centre also includes an early learning centre and other community services.

The role will require you to be onsite at Baldivis 3 days per week, 2 days at Harrisdale. In addition, you will also be required to assist with a quarterly inspection of a childcare centre at another site, as well as providing any other technical support to Stockland assets as required.

**The Opportunity - About the Role**

Reporting to the Centre Manager, you will be responsible for organising and coordinating the operational management of the Centres whilst containing expenditure within budget. You will also ensure proper and efficient operation of the Centres' physical aspects, creating and sustaining a safe and productive environment for the occupants.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist with major building works for Retail including demolitions, make goods, fit outs, refurbishments, major repairs and service installations.
- Engage specialist consultants and obtain relevant building approvals as required.
- Develop operational and capital expenditure budgets.
- Adhere to project management policies, procedures and reporting systems.
- Provide operations progress reporting.
- Deliver and drive reduction programs in energy, water and waste to deliver ESG targets.
- Promote and ensure full compliance with the RETAIL HS&E Plan.
- Management and development of Facilities Management team.
- Assist with Business Planning.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders through delivery of outstanding service.

**About You**
- Extensive experience of Operations Management
- Background in Commercial Property (ideally Retail) would be highly beneficial
- A knowledge of retailer management together with centre operations (tenancy delivery, facilities management, safety and security) will enable you to drive success
- Experience in formulating and monitoring budgets
- Sound knowledge of OH&S and legislative compliance and practices
- Experience in contract and vendor management
- Previous experience with SAP preferred
- Natural team leader who is experienced in managing and developing a multi-disciplined team
- Strong client service focus, with an ability to build and maintain effective relationships
