**What's the role?**
Join our dynamic Technology, Digital and Data (TDD) division as Head of Portfolio Operations and take on an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the way we deliver for the business.
This is an exciting role that will continue to drive ongoing improvements in the way continuous improvement (CI) ideas are prioritised and delivered. The role reports to the General Manager, Portfolio Management - and is a key role supporting leaders across TDD to improve existing processes and provide data-driven insights to enable decision making. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership, business acumen, and problem-solving skills to drive operational excellence and support the enhancement of News Corp Australia's digital and technology platforms.
**What you'll do**
+ Oversee the end to end process for continuous improvement delivery in TDD - ensuring planning and delivery processes are fit for purpose, understood by relevant stakeholders, and operating as intended.
+ Develop and manage a pipeline of improvement ideas and initiatives, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders across TDD (primarily the Demand Management Working Group)
+ Facilitate prioritisation workshops, delivery planning sessions and other forums as needed - including capturing & tracking key actions and outcomes
+ Leverage technology solutions (primarily Jira Product Discovery and Jira) to support business processes, manage the flow of information, and provide visibility of delivery progress - this also includes reviewing & updating data to ensure accuracy
+ Lead change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new processes and practices
+ Collate data and develop reports on delivery performance across TDD.
+ Foster strong working relationships with TDD & business stakeholders, and liaise with cross-functional delivery teams - including product managers, platform leads, delivery managers and scrum masters - to identify risks/issues and resolve blockers
+ Manage and prioritise enhancement requests for Atlassian tools, and manage implementation of them
+ Seek feedback to identify opportunities for process improvements, and work with relevant stakeholders to streamline operational workflows.

+ You have experience managing business processes and implementing strategies to drive quality and efficiency.
+ You have strong problem-solving skills, the ability to think on your feet, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges.
+ You are familiar with agile delivery practices and software development processes
+ You have exceptional verbal and written communication skills and you use tools to discover and communicate key insights into meaningful and visual reports.
+ You build strong and positive relationships across teams and with stakeholders at all levels; and you are a strong influencer who drives action.
