Job Description

As a dedicated Case Manager, you will play a vital role in making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing counseling and case management support to victims of non-violent property crime across Queensland.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist families in accessing essential support services, including practical and crisis support as needed, and provide follow-up as required.
* Provide relevant assessment, counseling, and therapeutic support services to individuals.
* Contribute to the implementation and evaluation of programs and plans for delivering services across the State.
* Undertake assessments, case manage referrals, and case reviews for a range of clients.
* Collaborate with the manager and team members to develop the program and referral pathways, representing the organization professionally at networking events and sector meetings.


Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must possess an Undergraduate degree in Social Work, Psychology, or other Human Behavioral Science discipline. Additionally, you should have demonstrated experience working within the community sector to support vulnerable individuals and families, as well as a proven ability to apply theoretical approaches relevant to working with individuals.

Desirable Qualifications:

* Sound knowledge of and demonstrated ability to utilize therapeutic processes and practices, including analyzing, evaluating, and making objective judgments and recommendations.
* A Current QLD Drivers License.
* A Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
