Aboriginal Student Adviser Job Description


This role will foster a culturally safe and supportive environment for Aboriginal students.


About the Role:

* In this position, you will connect students to scholarship opportunities and supplementary support services.
* You will work with key university partners to design and deliver academic initiatives that cater specifically to Indigenous students' needs.
* Evaluate programs, curriculum, co-curricular experiences, and student resources for their effectiveness in supporting Aboriginal students.


Main Responsibilities:

1. Foster connections between Aboriginal students, community organisations, local government agencies and related groups to provide cultural supports; enhance learning outcomes through cultural perspectives.
