Job Overview
This role is an opportunity to work with various cultures from around the world and contribute to a global team responsible for reviewing, articulating, and supporting the negotiation of cyber security contractual language. As part of this team, you will be involved in contract review, editing, and negotiation, as well as collaborating with contributors from multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Contract Review and Negotiation: Participate in the review and negotiation of client contractual documentation such as Engagement Letters, Master Service Agreements, and Statements of Work.
* Editing and Alignment: Edit and align client-proposed contractual language with the company's internal policies and applicable information security standards.
* Collaboration and Relationship Management: Collaborate and manage relationships with contributors from multiple teams, including technical subject matter experts and business teams.
* Subject Matter Expertise: Contribute to the development of new subject matter and technical domain expertise in the context of client interactions and contract review.
* Process Improvement: Identify and support initiatives to continually improve the service and identify opportunities to improve both effectiveness and efficiency.
Requirements
* Minimum 2+ Years' Experience: Demonstrate minimum 2+ years' experience in IT Security, GRC, Privacy or IT Audit.
* IT Security Management Frameworks: Understand IT security management frameworks, especially ISO 27001, and how they are applied in the context of IT management frameworks and related systems and processes.
* Contractual Clauses Review: Have prior experience reviewing and/or negotiating contractual clauses, preferably related to cybersecurity, privacy, or data protection.
* Legal Background: Exposure from Legal background in information security / cyber security law.
* Audit and Customer Interaction: Apply functional knowledge of audits, customer or client interactions and contracts in the context of a broader understanding of information security requirements and privacy laws and regulations.
* Conflict Resolution: Resolve complex issues and conflicting interests with diplomacy or recognizing when issues need to be escalated.
* Cross-Cultural Communication: Effectively cross-cultural/region/country communicating and leveraging experience working in an environment that crosses various regions and countries.
* Pragmatic Approach: Possess the ability to respond to challenging situations with a pragmatic approach towards solutions.
* Autonomy: Work under your own initiative and take ownership and execute tasks with autonomy.
