Your impact

Reporting to the Lead, Learning, Global, and as part of Newmont's Leadership Development & Learning team, in the position of Advisor e-Learning you will design, develop and maintain interactive digital learning content and multimedia resources for Newmont's regional mine operation sites and ensure alignment with Newmont's global training standards, instructional design principles and Learning Management Systems.

As part of our team you will

* Develop engaging and interactive e-Learning modules, videos and assessments that support technical and safety training
* Collaborate with subject matter experts and site trainers to translate complex technical content into digital learning formats
* Apply adult learning and instructional design principles to create effective learner-centred materials
* Maintain and update digital content in alignment with Newmont's global templates, naming conventions and governance standards
* Use authoring tools (Enable Now, Articulate 360, Captivate, or similar) to create multimedia learning modules and job aids
* Integrate learning materials and assessments into Newmont's Learning Management System (LMS)
* Ensure accessibility, usability and compliance of e-Learning content across devices and regions
* Manage version control, metadata and attachments through SharePoint and the LMS
* Support the standardisation of global learning content across Newmont's regional sites
* Maintain alignment with the Global Training Centre of Expertise to ensure standardisation and audit readiness.

Prerequisites for your success in the role

* Demonstrated experience in the mining industry with exposure to mine plant and equipment operating procedures
* Previous experience in a site-based Learning & Development function well regarded
* Understanding of mine operation safe work procedures and related legislative requirements
* Proficient skills in Learning Management Systems and competency-based training
* Proficient skills in e-Learning authoring tools- i.e. Enable Now, Articulate 360, Captivate
* Proficient skills in multimedia editing - i.e. video, audio, animation, etc
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications and Sharepoint
* Ability to storyboard, prototype and test e-Learning solutions for end-usability
* Ability to apply instructional design principles to develop engaging, learner-centred digital content using adult learning methodologies.

Your work environment

This permanent full-time equivalent position will be offered on a flexible work arrangement and open to applicants currently living in Australia with full and unrestricted eligibility for employment in Australia.

Occasional ad-hoc travel to Newmont's regional sites and/or office locations will be required.
