About the Role
Supporting the Head Chef in daily operations.
Supervise and train kitchen staff, delegate tasks, and oversee all kitchen stations.
Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency meet restaurant standards.
Assist with menu and recipe development, inventory management, and ordering supplies.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.
Step in to cook and manage service as needed, especially during busy periods.
Requirements
- At least 2 years’ experience as a Sous Chef / Chef or in a similar senior kitchen role.
- Experience with a range of cuisines is highly regarded.
- Proven ability to manage busy services (200+ covers).
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Fluent English.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Must be currently in Perth and eligible to work in Australia.
