Amazing opportunity to join the worlds' largest air services provider as part of our Catering Team at Cairns Airport as a Casual Customer Delivery Driver.

Casual shifts 2-3 per week available. Peak periods and holidays (Nov-Jan) up to 5 a week.
Responsibilities
- Short distance driving and basic vehicle safety checks, including refuelling.
- Safely load and unload trucks and aircraft with catering, equipment, carts and ovens, ensuring any discrepancies are followed up on.
- Guide and position the trucks safely in line with Company, Airport, and Airline policies.
- As the face of our business, communicate and coordinate with Airline cabin crew for aircraft servicing and delivery handover.
- Follow instructions as given by your Trainer, Shift Supervisor or Dept Head.
- Administrative documentation, shift reports and general cleaning duties as required.
What you need to be successful
- Must hold a clean valid MR or HR Driver’s License (min 1 year of driving).
- Be relatively fit and active. Ability to perform frequent manual handling tasks.
- Flexibility working around flight schedules is essential.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- 20/20 vision and sound hearing is vital for this role as you will be on the tarmac.
- Neat and tidy presentation, well spoken.
- As you will be working in the Aviation sector, a cleared National Police Check is required (at our cost).
