The opportunity Reporting into the Managing Director, you will be responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of all overarching HR strategies in alignment with the overall business strategy. You will also: Lead the HR function and broader administration team; Manage the annual budgeting process to ensure reduced costs and aligned programmes of work within budget; Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution and employee engagement initiatives; Drive performance management, including performance appraisals and development plans; Manage employee benefits and compensation programs, including the Cost of Living Adjustment and Exchange Rate review process for expats in PNG; Maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are current and fit-for-purpose; and Collaborate with senior leadership to drive organisational development and change management initiatives. About you Professional qualifications will be complemented by exceptional personal drive, a high level of resilience, personal integrity and commitment to deliver. You will demonstrate experience in leading teams to develop and implement fit-for-purpose strategies and initiatives. You are open to and adept at working at both strategic levels and rolling your sleeves up to do what is required to ensure you and your teams actions translate into delivery. You can adapt and build great relationships across all levels. Naturally, you will have: 5+ years' experience as a HR Manager or similar leadership role; Exceptional knowledge of HR policies and procedures; Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills; Can analyse data and make informed decisions; and Ability to work and travel within the South Pacific region approximately 8 weeks per year.
