**About the role
Temporary full time opportunity to provide high quality, cost efficient and effective clinical and non-clinical services to directly or indirectly benefit the patients/clients of Metro North Health Service. This includes research as well as teaching the health professionals of the future.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
General Medical Service participation, working flexibly within the Service, providing consultation and assistance to other units, within their area of expertise.
Perioperative ward service (Monthly rotation)
Undergraduate and post graduate teaching and supervision (including FRACP examination preparation), including Term Supervisor for Interns (PGY1)
Clinical research and quality assurance activities for Metro North Hospital and Health Services, as appropriate.
Provide such services as may be reasonably directed from time to time by your line manager as outlined on the Organisational Chart, including any intra-department portfolios allocated from time to time
