THE LOCATION Cardiac Sonographer – Darwin | NT Cardiac Pty Ltd NT Cardiac Pty Ltd is a leading independent cardiology practice providing high-quality cardiac care to both public and private patients across the Northern Territory. Based in Darwin Private Hospital and working closely with Royal Darwin Hospital and Palmerston Regional Hospital, our team of Cardiologists and Sonographers delivers comprehensive cardiac diagnostic and interventional services across the Top End, including regional and remote communities. We are seeking a motivated ASAR-registered Cardiac Sonographer to join our specialist team on a full-time basis. This role offers a diverse clinical environment, advanced imaging exposure, and opportunities to travel to remote communities. Key Responsibilities Perform transthoracic echocardiography for inpatient and outpatient services Conduct exercise and dobutamine stress echocardiography Perform advanced imaging including 3D/4D analysis, strain imaging, and contrast studies Assist with regional and remote outreach echocardiography services Prepare preliminary technical reports for Cardiologist review Maintain high standards of patient care, infection control, and equipment management What We Offer Competitive base salary plus productivity incentives Generous CPD allowance to support conferences and professional development Therapeutic care reimbursement up to $120 per fortnight (massage, yoga, Pilates etc.) Exposure to complex cardiac imaging and advanced echo technologies A collaborative team environment with experienced Cardiologists and Sonographers Unique opportunities to work across Darwin hospitals and remote NT communities Requirements ASAR registration Full working rights in Australia Strong communication and teamwork skills Applicants will be required to undergo a police check and Working with Children Check.
