With a variety of GP sessions; ED cover; ward rounds and on call work all shared across the service we can ensure adequate rest periods.
The multi-purpose service has 4 ED 4 Acute beds, 1 respite bed and a 19 bed residential aged care service.
The General Practice operates Monday to Friday and has mobile x-ray and visiting allied health specialists come to town.
The Location Lightning Ridge may be remote but it is a thriving mining town filled hundreds of obsessed diggers hoping to find the famous black opal.
Situated nearby the NSW and QLD border, it is 4 hours' from Dubbo Airport and known for its wildly eccentric and sometimes bizarre experiences.

Essential Criteria You must be a vocationally registered GP (FRACGP or FACRRM) with recent rural emergency experience and a current ALS2 (or equivalent) certificate.
