We are seeking a permanent, part-time (60.8 hours per fortnight) Scheduling Coordinator to join our Acquired Injury Support Services team in Kings Meadows (Launceston).
This position operates on a rotating roster between the hours of 6am to 5pm weekdays and required to participate in an on-call roster outside of these hours on weekdays and weekends.

About the role:
To coordinate and facilitate the scheduling of employees working with Acquired Injury clients, in response to vacancies created due to planned & unplanned leave, and other duties as directed by the Acquired Injury Support Services Management Team.
What you will be doing in this role:
* Facilitate workers for all available shifts and fill unplanned shift vacancies due to sickness, annual leave or training requirements;
* Complete data entry relating to employee schedules and relevant client information;
* Provide orientation to new employees on work schedules and rostering matters;
* Work closely and co-operatively with Anglicare's Human Resources, Service Centre, Service Management and Finance teams to ensure excellence in service delivery;
* Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports/documentation as required.

You must have:
* Ability to meet scheduling requirements in a fast paced and changing environment;
* Ability to use rostering software effectively;
* Understanding of the principles of underpinning good employee relations;
* Ability to understand and apply rules from Anglicare's Enterprise Agreement and other relevant legislation;
* Proven organisational and time management skills to ensure coordination of client needs with employee schedules;
* Familiar with Tasmania's geographical layout and/or capacity to acquire knowledge;
* Proven customer service, communication, listening and interpersonal skills to be able to problem solve and liaise with a wide range of internal and external customers;
* Proven administration skills including the ability to complete administrative and document preparation requirements in an efficient, timely and accurate manner;
* Basic computer literacy skills including the capacity to use word processing, database, excel and outlook applications;
* Experience in maintaining and operating in environments where information is private and/or of a confidential nature;
* Basic knowledge and adherence to work health and safety legislative obligations;
* Previous experience in and/or community disability and/or aged care support (desirable).
The successful applicant will be required to:
* Provide a current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People registration (employee/volunteer category) including NDIS Worker Screening Check;
* Present an unsupervised contact with children or vulnerable people type National Police Check (no older than 12 months);
* Provide an International Police Check if you have resided for 12 months or more outside of Australia after the age of 16;
* Complete a satisfactory Anglicare assessed medical;
* Provide a current provisional or full Australian Driver Licence.
On commencement the successful applicant will be required to undertake our structured Safeguarding Children Training program.
