Senior UX Designer role at CPA Australia. CPA Australia is transforming its learning experience and launching a brand-new Learning Management System with member experience at the heart of the initiative.
We're seeking a talented Senior UX Designer to join our team and play a pivotal role in this journey. Reporting to the UX Manager, you'll represent the UX capability across the organisation—leading planning, facilitation, and collaboration efforts while applying a broad spectrum of UX methodologies. This is a 12 month contract role.
Responsibilities
* Insight-Led Design - Leverage the enterprise journey framework and research and insights during discovery and design to ensure designs are based on customer needs.
* Create detailed wireframes and interactive prototypes to test design concepts and user flows with users.
* Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to uncover usability issues and validate design decisions.
* Provide strong design leadership across key strategic projects and foster a high standard of design capability.
* Contribute to maintaining, evolving and enhancing our design system.
* Collaborate with the Experience, Design and Innovation team and key stakeholders to ensure effective working relationships, engagement, and delivery.
* Clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to cross-functional teams.
About you (Qualifications and Experience)
* Demonstrated experience in a senior UX design role with experience across both web and mobile.
* Strong portfolio of UX/Design work with expert facilitation skills.
* Skilled in UX research, design, and execution methodologies (e.g., user testing, interviews, surveys, focus groups, data analysis).
* Proven ability to deliver customer-centric iterative product solutions, translating strategy into execution with attention to detail.
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical aptitude, and ability to manage competing issues under tight deadlines.
* Knowledge of Agile (and Waterfall) frameworks and experience with various Agile tools and systems.
* Decision-making ability using a DVF approach.
* Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and time management skills.
