Sales Manager | Department Stores | VIC
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager to join the Wholesale team.
Reporting to the National Sales Manager 0 Department Stores, this role will be responsible for providing leadership, direction and growth for the Myer, David Jones, Harris Scarfe and Target accounts for the Bonds Group. This is a fixed term contract for 12 months.
**Responsibilities will include**:
- Driving overall sales strategies, financial management and customer relationship management for Myer, David Jones, Harris Scarfe and Target Bonds Womens Underwear & Bras.
- Driving category management approach in conjunction with Customer buying teams
- Delivering on Sales, profitability and market share metrics for the Myer, David Jones, Harris Scarfe and Target accounts
What experience do I have?
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is a Sales Manager or Key Account Manager, keen to continue progressing their career and developing in the sales space. It is essential that you have experience in a similar field, with a consumer goods background (ideally in apparel or homewares) or large SKU count experience.Exposure to large multi-site retailers and a centralised buying structure and liaising with multiple stakeholders, will set you up for success in this position.You must have a genuine passion for fashion and the world of wholesale/retail - and love the art of sales
**To be successful, your skills will include**:
Hands on sales and account management experience - minimum 3-5 years' experience required in a relevant industry/field
Previous experience dealing with key Buyers, ideally in Discount Department Store or Department store channels
Project management experience
Strong relationship building skills
Strong commercial acumen - you must be highly proficient in Excel
Excellent analytical and forecasting skills
Strong influencing and negotiating skills
