Job Description
This role plays a pivotal part in developing people, managing change, and influencing behaviours that lead to a supportive culture. The expectation is that the Team Leader will deliver on core responsibilities and meet requirements outlined below.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leading a team providing expert advice on legislation; mentoring and developing members to enable mastery, teamwork, and purpose in their functions.
2. Driving innovation and promoting continuous improvement through effective change management; prioritizing and ensuring the team delivers on agreed outcomes.
3. Developing strategies to appropriately identify, balance, and work within the AFP risk framework; working with the Executive and broader leadership to deliver enterprise effect.
4. Providing subject matter expertise knowledge and sound advice to Executive and Investigators on matters related to statutory compliance and Commonwealth Legislation.
5. Supporting external agencies during statutory compliance inspections and business area representation with internal and external stakeholders.
