They are seeking a highly experienced and results‑driven Operations Manager to lead and oversee all operational functions across Sydney, Illawarra, and Tasmania. The Role The Operations Manager will be responsible for the strategic and day‑to‑day management of operations across multiple regions, ensuring service excellence, compliance, staff performance, participant satisfaction, and sustainable business growth. This senior leadership role requires a proactive professional with extensive experience in disability services, aged care, community services, healthcare operations, and Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Specialist Support Residential Care (SSRC) environments. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership Oversee daily operations across Sydney, Illawarra, and Tasmania Ensure efficient service delivery aligned with NDIS Practice Standards and internal policies Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, participant outcomes, and profitability Monitor KPIs, service quality, rostering efficiency, incident management, and workforce performance Oversee SIL and SSRC programs, ensuring high‑quality participant care and service delivery Team Leadership & Workforce Management Lead, mentor, and manage regional coordinators, team leaders, house managers, and support staff Build a high‑performance, accountable workplace culture Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and staff development Ensure adequate staffing levels and operational coverage across all regions Compliance & Quality Assurance Maintain full compliance with NDIS standards, restrictive practices requirements, WHS, and relevant legislation Manage audits, risk assessments, incident reporting, and corrective actions Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and operational record management Ensure SIL and SSRC homes operate in accordance with participant care plans and compliance obligations Participant & Stakeholder Management Maintain strong relationships with participants, families, support coordinators, guardians, and external stakeholders Address escalations, complaints, and complex participant matters promptly and professionally Ensure participant satisfaction, safety, and continuity of care Business Growth & Strategy Identify opportunities for growth and service expansion Support business development initiatives and operational scalability Assist executive leadership with strategic planning and operational forecasting Manage budgets, operational costs, and resource allocation Essential Requirements Minimum 10 years' experience in disability services, community services, healthcare operations, SIL, SSRC, or related sectors Proven track record managing multi‑site operations Demonstrated experience overseeing SIL and SSRC environments and complex participant supports Extensive knowledge of the NDIS framework, compliance obligations, restrictive practices, and operational standards Strong leadership and people management skills Demonstrated ability to manage large teams and complex operational environments Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and organisational skills Experience managing KPIs, budgets, rostering, and operational performance Current Driver Licence Current NDIS Worker Screening Check Working With Children Check National Police Check Highly Desirable Qualifications in Business Management, Healthcare Management, Community Services, or related fields Experience overseeing operations across multiple states or regions Strong understanding of workforce planning and participant growth strategies Experience with care management and rostering systems Experience managing high‑needs behavioural support or complex care participants What Our Client Offers Competitive salary package inclusive of superannuation Flexible working arrangements - 2 days per week work from home Office located Homebush area Career progression opportunities within a growing organisation Supportive executive leadership team Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community Dynamic and collaborative work environment If this sounds like you, please include a cover letter and updated resume with your application.
