What will you do?
The Adelaide Transport practice is seen as a leader in bridges and structural design in the South Australian market. With a growing pipeline of work across a range of different projects and sectors, we are now looking to grow our local team.
We are seeking a Senior Revit Modeller to work in our structural team and provide their expertise to major projects across South Australia and Victoria. The South Australian structural team is led by our Major Projects Manager and is capably supported by a small team of Structural Engineers and a Revit Modeller.
Here are the key things you will do to 'bring ideas to life'.
- Lead the development of structural models using Revit commands and families and deliver drawing documentation as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on major projects
- Be able to work independently and autonomously to deliver project documentation to a high standard
- Perform thorough checks on Revit models and drawing documentations before submission stages
- Be able to effectively communicate with a multi-disciplinary team in a major project environment
- Ideally be able to train and mentor less senior staff in the use of Revit and project documentation
- Assist in the development of digital strategies
- Basic knowledge in using Dynamo will be an advantage
What can you bring to the team?
- You will share our passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future
- A relevant technical qualification
- Good understanding of Revit modelling including add-ins, schedules, filters and 3D reinforcement
- Have fundamental knowledge in civil structures such as (but not limited to) gantries and retaining walls
- Experience in modelling of bridge structures using
- Experience leading a team of modellers/drafters in bridge and civil structure projects would be advantageous
- You will also need to embrace and learn any in-house automation tools such as using Dynamo to assist in efficient modelling of bridge structures.
