Are you ready to take ownership of a critical finance function and lead a small, high-performing team? We're looking for a Senior Accounts Receivable Officer who thrives on process improvement, driving results, and building strong relationships with customers.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll ensure the AR function runs smoothly, improve cash flow, and create efficiencies that make a real difference to the business.
What You'll Do
* Lead, coach, and motivate a team of two Accounts Receivable Officers
* Oversee all AR processes including invoicing, credit control, and collections
* Monitor outstanding accounts and proactively resolve payment delays
* Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customers
* Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency
* Support month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting
* Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in Accounts Receivable, ideally in a senior or team lead role
* Experience managing or mentoring staff
* Strong knowledge of credit management, invoicing, and reconciliations
* Skilled user of accounting software (MYOB, Xero, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
* Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
* Proactive, results-focused, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
