Project Manager – Facilities & security Audit
* Richmond, 3 days in office
* 6 month contract with view to extend (open position within project that has funding until 2028)
A high‐profile program is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a national uplift of security, cash‐handling controls, and technology infrastructure across a large retail network. This role operates in a risk‐sensitive environment and requires exceptional organisation, stakeholder influence, and the ability to bring structure to ambiguity.
The Opportunity
Lead a fast‐moving program spanning security audits, property upgrades, network uplifts, and a new technology pilot. You'll work across corporate sites, licensed sites, operations, property, technical teams, and cash‐transport providers to deliver essential security and compliance improvements.
What You'll Deliver
* Manage a national compliance audit across hundreds of retail locations.
* Oversee physical security upgrades and site‐level remediation activities.
* Coordinate network uplift requirements with IT and engineering teams.
* Lead a technology pilot rollout, track performance, and prepare for scale‐
* Manage cash‐transport and operational impacts, ensuring safe, efficient processes.
What You Bring
* Strong stakeholder management and diplomacy in compliance‐heavy, high‐risk environments.
* Experience delivering multi‐site, property, or operational projects.
* Ability to translate complex technical or audit findings into clear delivery plans.
* Comfortable operating between business, property, and technology teams.
* Highly organised, structured, and able to drive outcomes through ambiguity.
Ideal Background (Not Essential)
* Experience in retail operations, security upgrades, WHS, or compliance projects
