The Role

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for leading procurement activities for solar PV and BESS projects across Australia, ensuring cost‑efficient sourcing, supplier performance, and alignment with project requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Supplier selection, qualification, and performance monitoring.
* Lead competitive tenders for multiple procurement packages.
* Negotiate contracts for supply and supply & install.
* Build and maintain strong supplier relationships aligned with Gransolar group standards.
Reporting & Planning:
* Prepare and monitor procurement plans, ensuring alignment with project budgets and construction schedules.
* Provide visibility to internal stakeholders regarding procurement status and supplier performance.
* Contribute to process optimisation and improvement initiatives within procurement and GRS Australia.
Skills & Experience Required:
* 3-5 years' experience in a similar position working with projects / construction.
* Sourcing and negotiation skills.
* Contract drafting. Knowledge of incoterms.
* Experience in renewable energy projects or construction preferred.
* Knowledge of electrical and mechanical BOS materials is a plus.
* Office suite (Advanced Excel).
* ERP (SAP S/4HANA Procurement).
