About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Porter/Concierge, to join our team welcoming guests to RACV Royal Pines Resort. You will be the face of the resort utilising your amazing customer service skills to deliver our members & guests an exceptional experience.

In this busy and varied role, you will be on your feet and actively utilising your exceptional customer service skills, providing a high standard 5 star service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is a memorable & an enjoyable experience. You will be motivated and hardworking with the “can do attitude” which will see you thrive in the role. Your key responsibilities in this role include:
Welcome and greet guests entering the resortAssist guests and large groups at check in/outMonitor and manage traffic flow on resort entrance drivewayArrange guests with bookings, transport, restaurant reservations & deliver messagesTransport and store guest luggage and belongings, lifting heavy itemsSource and deliver items to guest roomsProvide guests with information on the resort facilities, restaurants & servicesProvide guests with information and recommendations on local Gold Coast events, restaurants, shopping and tourist attractionsEnsure resort entrance & hotel public areas remains in a clean & presentable mannerDrive golf carts on propertyCollaborate with front office and other department teams
Full availability and flexibility are required to work a rotating roster between 7am-11pm including evenings, weekends & public holidays.
What you'll need to be successful
Hotel porter/concierge experience, in 4-5 star hotel/resort environment, or similarRSA Certificate & valid Qld Drivers Licence, essentialFirst Aid Certificate, desirableKnowledge of the hotel industry, the Gold Coast region, latest & upcoming events, attractions, restaurants, local places to visit and things to seeClear communication skills, professional face-to-face and phone manner, active listening skills & strong interpersonal skillsManage and resolve difficult situations, problem solving skills and work well in a busy environmentProficient computer skills including MS Office applications + PMS Opera, desirableDeliver a high standard of quality customer service, excellent attention to detail, organisational and efficient time management skillsWork well in a team environment and with diverse groups of peopleBe self motivated, confident, friendly, enthusiastic and have a positive attitudeExcellent grooming & personal presentation
