THE ROLE
As a Department Manager at JD Sports, you will lead your team to deliver exceptional customer service. You will collaborate with the store management team to create engaging in-store experiences, maintain visual and merchandising standards, and achieve financial targets. Your role involves setting the standard for sales performance through coaching and development of your team.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Modeling exceptional customer service at all times
Coaching staff to prioritize service over tasks
Sharing product and brand knowledge within your department
Supporting financial performance improvements
Ensuring product availability with the back of house team
Upholding company standards and visual merchandising excellence
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
2-3 years of leadership experience in retail or similar industry
A passion for delivering excellent customer service
A positive attitude and ability to motivate a team
Proven ability to meet and exceed KPIs and communicate effectively
Strong time management skills
Adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to share knowledge and develop professionally
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
