Key Responsibilities
* Deliver personal care, including showering, dressing, and toileting assistance
* Administer medication correctly and assist with domestic duties, meal preparation, and other household tasks to ensure safe and hygienic living conditions
* Provide social support, including transportation to shops or appointments, and adherence to client care plans
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Certification and Experience
* A current Australian driver's license and reliable vehicle are essential
* A Certificate III in Aged Care is highly desirable
* Current First Aid certification is also desirable
* Previous experience working in the community is advantageous
Communication Skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills are required for interacting with staff, clients, families, and service providers in a professional manner.
