Are you looking for more than a 9–5? Do you want a role that combines your skills with an exciting lifestyle, where no two days are the same? Horizon Yacht Australia is offering a unique opportunity to join our growing team.
From hands-on involvement in vessel deliveries, to attending Horizon Rendezvous events, and even opportunities for international travel, this role is as much about lifestyle as it is about career.
If you're the kind of person who gets a buzz from keeping things humming—juggling schedules, smoothing out snags, and making customers feel looked after—you'll fit right in. You'll be the behind-the-scenes legend who keeps our service operation shipshape: coordinating warranties, wrangling parts, syncing calendars, and being the friendly link between our team, shipyards, OEMs, and customers. All from our beautiful Sanctuary Cove base.
We're looking for someone who is
* Practical, reliable, and willing to roll up their sleeves
* Keen to grow and take on new responsibilities
* Excited by the idea of travel, events, and being part of an energetic team
* Passionate about delivering great service and representing one of the world's most prestigious yacht brands
What you'll do
* Own warranty admin: Lodge, track, and finalise claims; liaise with suppliers/manufacturers; keep docs audit ready.
* Keep our portal pristine: Update notes, media, service activities, and follow-ups so everything's accurate and easy to find.
* Be the go-to connector: Coordinate with the shipyard and OEM warranty teams; follow up technical queries and product updates; record outcomes.
* Master the diary: Book service appointments, technician visits, warranty periods, and internal meetings; keep calendars conflict-free.
* Handle quotes & invoices: Request and track repair quotes, liaise for approvals, review invoices, and work with Accounts/Sales for accurate billing.
* Parts pro: Source and quote new parts, coordinate dispatch/logistics, and keep an eye on stock levels.
* Pitch in with pickups/deliveries: Coordinate—and occasionally carry out—runs for parts/equipment with proper documentation.
* Marina berthing support: Assist with berthing logistics and records; provide monthly reports for invoicing.
About you
* Experience in service administration or technical support.
* Organised, unflappable, and great at multitasking.
* Clear and confident communicator—written and verbal.
* Comfortable with Microsoft Office and service management systems.
* Bonus points for quoting, invoicing, and CRM know-how.
* A background in boating or the marine industry is a plus but is not required.
* A team player who can also work independently.
* Valid driver's licence (for occasional deliveries/pickups).
What's in it for you
* Competitive salary aligned to experience.
* Ongoing training and development to keep your skills sharp.
* A clear pathway for growth – with opportunities to move into senior technical support roles after your first 12–18 months
* The chance to be part of a close-knit, supportive and down-to-earth team culture.
* Access to unique industry experiences that most people never get to see
* A picturesque marina location at Sanctuary Cove—yes, your office view wins.
Working with Horizon isn't just a job – it's a chance to be part of some of the most exciting experiences the marine industry has to offer.
