Liontown is seeking an experienced Principal Process Engineer to optimise performance at our Kathleen Valley lithium processing plant and shape the technical roadmap for future expansion.
The opportunity
This is a hands‐on technical leadership role where you will drive the plant optimisation program, with a particular focus on plant throughput and recovery. You will bridge technical design and operational execution, ensuring processing and metallurgical theory translates into measurable plant performance gains.
Working with our world‐class lithium asset, you will design and implement test work programs, work with the site team to ensure the plant operating philosophy is optimised and provide expert technical support to operations teams tackling real‐time challenges in spodumene concentrate production.
What You'll Bring
* 10+ years in mineral processing metallurgy with proven plant optimisation results.
* Demonstrated experience with spodumene concentrate production operations.
* Track record designing test work programs that deliver operational improvements.
* Experience in process design, operating philosophy development, and commissioning support.
* Strong collaboration skills working with operations teams to implement practical solutions.
Your lithium processing expertise will be vital as you lead initiatives across our whole‐of‐ore flotation circuit, across comminution, flotation and tailings management.
