Main Responsibilities
* Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Executive Manager and the Infrastructure and Operations Division.
* Coordinate agenda reports and take minutes for Council / Committee meetings.
* Ensure accurate electronic filing and document retrieval in council records management systems.
* Support planning and coordination of infrastructure projects, including tracking progress and deadlines.
* Organize meetings, site visits, and conferences.
* Assist with personal errands for the Executive Manager.
* Maintain confidentiality and discretion in all matters.
Candidate Requirements
* Experience in local government is advantageous but not essential.
* Certificate in Business Administration.
* Experience supporting senior executives.
* Proficiency in Windows-based systems, web technologies, and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong record-keeping skills and attention to detail.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation, particularly the Local Government Act.
