Job Description

About the role:

Reporting to the Senior Process Improvement Business Partner, this role partners with leaders and teams across the business and wider industry to deliver process optimisation and business improvement initiatives from concept through to implementation.

You will lead and support multidisciplinary improvement initiatives, analyse operational performance data, and work closely with stakeholders to identify and deliver opportunities that enhance service quality and business performance. Operating in a complex, asset-intensive environment, this role plays a key part in translating improvement ideas into practical, sustainable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and support improvement initiatives across the business, from concept through to implementation
* Analyse operational performance data and insights to support evidence-based decision-making
* Facilitate workshops, investigations, and structured root cause analysis activities
* Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritise and deliver initiatives aligned to strategic and operational objectives
* Build continuous improvement capability by coaching and educating leaders and teams
* Apply effective change management approaches to embed sustainable improvement and support teams through change
* Monitor and report on performance measures

Skills and Experience

* Tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related discipline (desirable)
* Experience in process improvement within a heavy industry environment
* High capability in data analysis and insights to support informed decision-making
* Experience in problem-solving methodologies (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, TapRooT, or similar)
* Experience applying change management principles, including stakeholder engagement and communication planning
* Excellent communication skills and influencing skills
