Senior Planning Engineer, Water Infrastructure
We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to join our National Asset Management and Planning team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled professional to lead and undertake technical assessments of water supply and sewerage networks.
About the Role
The Senior Planning Engineer will be responsible for:
* Leading and undertaking technical assessments of water supply and sewerage networks to address drivers such as growth, compliance, network performance improvement, and renewals.
* Undertaking strategic and master planning, options assessments, feasibility investigations, and detailed planning projects.
* Preparing business cases and providing technical expertise across a broad range of projects.
Your Key Responsibilities
You will have experience leading the delivery of efficient and effective engineering consultancy services to public and private sector clients. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Leading project scoping or proposal development.
* Providing technical expertise across a broad range of projects.
* Planning water supply and sewerage networks and understanding their operation.
* Preparing and delivering effective presentations and workshops.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A recognised Bachelor's Degree (Engineering) or equivalent.
* Chartered status CPENG an advantage.
* Proficiency in hydraulic principles, including some experience in hydraulic modelling.
* Analytics techniques and use of decision support methodologies.
* Experience in GIS and Excel to interrogate and assess data.
