Job Description
Our company, Vee H Aviation Pty Ltd, trading as Corporate Air and Link Airways is an aviation service company that provides regional airline and charter services to customers in eastern and southern Australia. Link Airways is a Regional Airline, connecting rural and regional centres with the cities of Brisbane, Melbourne, and Canberra whilst Corporate Air, provides FIFO, Charter and Emergency Services flights to clients Australia wide. About the Role: We are keen to recruit an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) to join our team on our Canberra line location.
The role is Permanent and Full-time, based at Canberra Airport. Salary per annum: $92,000 - $96,000 The company operates a range of aircraft, namely Saab 340, Metroliner 23, Beechcraft King Air 200 and Cessna 441’s.
Whilst not essential, licenses on any of these aircraft and/or engines would be an advantage. You will be employed under the Company’s competitive Enterprise Agreement dated 2023. Along with a competitive salary, you will have the ability to join the Company’s staff travel program. About you:

Who are we looking for? To be successful in this role you will require:
* Must have a sound knowledge of aircraft maintenance skills:
* This maybe be proven through evidence of a Certificate 4 in Aero Skills or equivalent.
* Must have previously demonstrated skills in aircraft maintenance:
* Current experience as shown by reference to time served with company or statement from previous employer.
* Must have a minimum of 3 Years aircraft maintenance experience, which may include an apprenticeship:
* This maybe be proven through evidence of a certificate 4 in aero skills or equivalent.
* Experience with Turboprops engines (desirable);
Display attention to detail and high degree of accuracy;
* To demonstrate ability to use your initiative to problem solve.
* The ability to work a shift rotating through our seven day a week operation, on a rotating roster and some (paid) overtime requirements are expected.
* To hold a current Australian driver’s license and be able to work in a small team environment.
* To pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol pathology screening.
