Government Technology Platforms provides cross sector leadership and delivery of ICT infrastructure and digital service delivery reforms aligned to the NSW Government ICT Strategy.
About the Role:
* Design, develop, and maintain secure and efficient ETL/ELT pipelines using Talend, ensuring alignment with government data standards and compliance requirements.
* Support the integration of data from multiple internal and external government sources into centralised data platforms to enable evidence-based decision-making.
* Deploy, monitor, and maintain ETL workflows within AWS cloud environments, leveraging services such as S3, Lambda, and Glue in accordance with government cloud policy.
* Implement rigorous data quality, validation, and governance controls, ensuring integrity, traceability, and auditability of all data processes.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data architects, business analysts, and policy stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
* Contribute to the automation of data ingestion and transformation processes to support reporting, analytics, and regulatory compliance activities.
* Ensure secure handling of sensitive and confidential data in line with government privacy and cybersecurity frameworks.
* Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation of ETL processes, configurations, and data flows to support transparency and continuity.
