Our client is looking for a hands‐on Mechanical Supervisor to lead workshop and site‐based mechanical work.
What you'll be doing
* Lead, organise and supervise mechanical trades, apprentices and TAs
* Plan daily/weekly workflow and keep projects on track
* Oversee fabrication, installation, maintenance and commissioning work
* Ensure safety, quality and compliance with Australian Standards
* Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and minimise downtime
* Liaise with customers, engineers and suppliers
* Mentor the team and drive continuous improvement
What we're looking for
* Trade qualified with experience in a similar supervisory role
* Strong knowledge of WHS, Australian Standards and workshop/site environments
* Confident leading teams and dealing with clients
* Solid problem‐solving and organisational skills
* Comfortable with reporting and documentation
