Your Key Responsibilities
As the Data Risk Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing and bringing critical data usages under governance. This involves understanding and documenting end-to-end data flows and system processes, identifying potential data risks, mitigating controls, and escalating data issues when necessary. You will also recognize opportunities for process enhancements and control improvements.
You will oversee the implementation of the Enterprise Data Management framework. This includes identifying and assessing data usages, defining and assessing business metadata through stakeholder workshops, mapping data lineage, identifying and assessing data risks and controls, and facilitating data governance business overview sessions.
Your Skills and Experience
* Strong business analysis skills with attention to detail.
* Effective communication and influencing skills to build rapport at all levels.
* Able to work autonomously, manage stakeholders, and deliver on multiple streams of work simultaneously.
* Previous experience in data governance or data management is preferred.
* Good project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Enterprise Data Management tooling experience is beneficial but not essential.
