**About the role**
As Head of Retail Network, you are responsible for the financial performance, customer experience, compliance, community engagement, and operation of the network, including branches, mobile bankers, digital home loan sales, and insurance partnerships. You contribute to and influence the development and implementation of the branch sales strategy through collaboration, leadership, and delivery.
This role is seen as a key contributor to Great Southern Bank's Senior Leader team, providing strategic input into the broader organisational practices, decisions, and goals. You will represent the Bank in the community and with key stakeholders including broker partners, major clients, sponsorship partners, and at relevant industry events.
You will report to the Chief Customer Officer, who is a member of the Executive Committee and a direct report to the CEO. Reporting to you are our 3 x State Managers who lead the branch network in their respective regions, and 4 x Senior Managers who lead our Business Development, Insurance and Digital Home Loan Sales teams, Sales Performance, and Sales Enablement.
**About you**
- Minimum 10 years' experience in senior roles within the retail banking environment
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a leader of leaders
- Experience in leading geographically-dispersed teams and direct reports
- Experience leading in a highly-regulated and dynamic environment
- Passionate about customers and Great Southern Bank's purpose
- Excellent communication skills across a wide range of audiences and a proven ability to establish strong relationships internally and externally at all levels
- Commercially astute, a structured problem solver, and passionate about evidence based management
- Committed to quality and continuous improvement, with a growth mindset
- Ability to think strategically, pragmatically, and consider impacts and opportunities beyond your own areas of responsibility
