Junior Designer – Accessories
BRIE LEON is seeking a skilled and proactive Junior Designer with 1+ years of industry experience in accessories to join our design team. This role is a step up from an entry position. You're confident with technical design processes, already fluent in translating concepts into production-ready files, and ready to contribute meaningfully from day one.
Working closely with the Head of Design & Production, you will support the development of seasonal collections across handbags and accessories, with the opportunity to contribute to footwear if experienced.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
* Translate creative direction into accurate tech packs and production-ready files
* Create detailed design flats and technical drawings in Adobe Illustrator
* Prepare and maintain clear technical documentation, spec sheets, and design libraries
* Support material, hardware, and trim sourcing
* Review samples, attend fittings, and provide clear, constructive feedback
* Collaborate cross-functionally with Ecommerce and Wholesale teams
WHO YOU ARE:
* 1+ year professional experience in accessories design (handbags, SLG)
* Strong understanding of technical files and production processes
* Confident using all Adobe software. Illustrator and Photoshop are a must.
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Clear communicator who can work independently
* Comfortable working in a small, fast-paced team
NICE TO HAVE:
* Experience communicating with overseas suppliers
* Knowledge of sustainable materials and responsible sourcing
* Trend research and seasonal concept development exposure
