We are seeking a skilled and versatile pastry chef or baker to join our high-volume bakery team. As an all-rounder, you will be responsible for preparing and baking various types of pastries and cakes, including sponges and mud cakes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking, with at least 2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen environment. You will be expected to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced setting, with a focus on maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
The successful applicant will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities. You will also be proficient in using equipment such as mixers and ovens, and be comfortable working varied shifts, including afternoon, evening, or night shifts.
