Great Opportunity for Industrial Electricians to Step into Oil & Gas. Ventia is seeking a qualified Electrician to join our team supporting and working on one of our drilling rigs. About The Role
As the Rig Electrician, you will play a key role in maintaining safe and reliable electrical operations on a drilling rig. Your work will include:
* Performing preventative and scheduled maintenance on electrical systems
* Assisting with breakdowns and supporting critical repairs
* Troubleshooting and fault-finding on rig electrical equipment
* Working closely with supervisors, rig crews, and maintenance teams
* Ensuring compliance with safety and maintenance procedures
* Contributing to a high-performing team environment

About You
* A current Electrical Trade Qualification
* Industrial or heavy industry experience (oil & gas advantageous)
* Experience with PLC systems, fault-finding, and maintenance
* Strong troubleshooting skills under pressure
* Ability to use computer systems for reporting and maintenance tracking
* A valid Open Manual Driver's Licence
* A commitment to working safely in a high-risk environment
