**Role Summary**
We are seeking a professional with expertise in commercial management to oversee the execution of day-to-day commercial and contract activities within our project team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing upstream relationships with clients and downstream interactions with construction contractors, executing commercial and contract strategies, selecting the most appropriate contract vehicle for the work program, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include providing evaluation and analysis of project and contract requirements, managing commercial activities related to assigned contracts, building relationships with internal and external stakeholders, reviewing existing processes and systems, providing guidance and support to project leads and cost controllers, and arranging and chairing quarterly contract commercial meetings.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- 5 years' experience in contract / commercial management is preferred
- Extensive contract administration experience
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
- Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Ability to analytically review existing systems & processes and look for continuous improvement opportunities
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to achieve optimal outcomes
