Job description:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Plant Operator / Crane Operator / Lineworker Assistant on a Permanent Full-Time Basis.
This role is based at our brand-new state-of-the-art South Metro Depot in Forrestdale, conveniently located next to Tonkin Highway. Spanning across 120,000 square meters. With the latest infrastructure and technology, the depot empowers all employees to create that perfect work-life balance whilst operating in an inclusive and diverse workplace.
Your Role in Action
* Crane and rigging operations.
* Key support role to the Transmission Operations Team.
* Carry-out on-site transport and logistics of materials to workfronts.
What Makes You a Great Fit
* Valid WA 'C' Class Drivers Licence to business requirements.
* Valid WA 'HC' Licence (minimum).
* High Risk Crane licence class 'C6' (essential).
* JCB Loader Experience would be preferred but not essential.
* Western Power Crane Supplementary would be preferred but not essential.
* High Risk Licence class Forklift (preferred).
* Relevant Network Authorisation including Construction industry white card and Basic Emergency Life Support (within the first month of employment).
* Prior experience in providing non-trade support in an operational team environment.
* Demonstrate Western Power's constructive behaviours and values.
