Ppl People are thrilled to partner with a well-established commercial real estate business to recruit an experienced Commercial Trust Accountant to support their Property Management, Sales and Leasing divisions, with additional exposure to general accounting and bookkeeping.

About the Role:
As the Commercial Trust Accountant, you will be responsible for end-to-end trust accounting across commercial property management, sales and leasing portfolios, alongside supporting bookkeeping and general accounting functions.
This is a hands-on role where accuracy, compliance, and reliability are key. You will work closely with Property Managers, Sales and Leasing teams, and senior leadership, acting as the go-to person for all trust and transactional matters.

Key Responsibilities
* Daily receipting and allocation of trust monies
* End-to-end trust accounting across commercial property management, sales and leasing
* Bank reconciliations and trust account balancing
* Managing trust compliance, audits, and reporting
* Processing payments, disbursements, and adjustments
* Maintaining accurate trust records (Cirrus8 experience highly regarded)
* Supporting bookkeeping and general accounting functions as required
* Assisting internal teams with trust and accounting-related queries
About You
* Proven experience in trust accounting, ideally within commercial real estate
* Solid understanding of trust compliance and legislative requirements
* Real estate industry experience strongly preferred
* Experience with Cirrus8 is highly regarded
* Highly organised, detail-focused, and dependable
* Confident communicator who works well across multiple teams
* Available for an ASAP start
